The Optician Board has voted to leave the jurisprudence CE exam the same as the 2025 exam. If you have taken it before, the questions will look familiar — this year's posting is the same exam, not a new one.
What changed
The exam will not be graded. It must still be received at the state board office by December 31. The Board has made this change in anticipation of a rule change eliminating the CE requirement, expected to take effect in the near future.
What to do
Download the current exam, complete it, and mail it to the board before the December 31 deadline. It is also linked from the continuing education page and the helpful links page, alongside the licensing board's own resources.
