About Us

The Tennessee Dispensing Opticians Association is the only state association working on behalf of all Opticians in Tennessee.

We are the only education provider in the state to support legislation that maintains a State Board of Dispensing Opticians and licensing dispensing opticians.

We are the only education provider to spend money on maintaining a lobbyist to monitor the legislature in an effort to make sure that any new bills that are introduced are for the good of the optician and consumers of Tennessee.
